We are delighted to announce the winners of the 8th Mini Saga Contest of the EOI de Santiago de Compostela.

A panel of teachers from the English department has chosen 3 stories from the 7 finalists and has awarded 3 prizes:

A Speaking workshop for B2, C1, and C2 students, with Javier Cerdeira.

Would you like to develop your oral skills while having fun? Would you like to learn English by improvising scenes like in a theatre play? Come and play the improvisation game with us! No acting skills are required in this workshop.  There will be no acting on stage or in front of other people. All speaking! All fun!

The session is limited to 25 people and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Help us choose the finalists of the 8th Mini Saga Contest by reading these 15 stories and voting for your favourite mini saga here.

Public voting will be enabled until April 15th.

The jury, who will be composed of members from the teaching staff of the English department, will judge the 7 stories that receive the highest number of votes and award 3 prizes based on their originality and linguistic quality.

Winners will be announced on April 23rd.

O departamento de inglés da EOI de Santiago organiza unha saída para asistir a unha visita guiada en inglés no Museo da Maxia Kiko Pastur en de Santiago de Compostela!
Se formas parte do alumnado da escola e tes mais de 18 anos, podes acompañarnos nesta aventura. Reserva a túa praza neste formulario, son limitadas!

To celebrate International Book Day, come and discover the School Library as well as a treasured part of British culture: Tea, with our teacher Emma Colquhoun.

When is it?

You can come on Mon 22nd April or Thursday 2nd May, at 11:00 on both days

Who is the activity for?

• A1 students
• A2 students

What are we going to do?

•  Talk in English
• Learn to make a classic British cup of tea (and drink it too!*)
• Learn a little about the fascinating history of tea
• Discover the School Library 

What better way to celebrate World Book Day than by joining our book club?
We will discuss Chuck Palahniuk's Fight Club, an electrifying novel that explores male identity politics, therapy-culture and violence.

Our traditional high tea will include a selection of delicately filled finger sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and a wide variety of specialist teas. And of course, everything served on pretty cups and platters.
