You know we love sending and receiving postcards in English, but this year we have a strong motive,  telling the world about the Jacobean Year in our land. This is how we do it:

Xa sabedes que nos encanta enviar e recibir postais en inglés, pero este ano temos un motivo maior, contarlle ao mundo sobre o Ano Xacobeo na nosa terra, Así é como o facemos:

First, we request an address in Postcrossing. Next, we choose a beautiful postcard (we usually have pictures of Santiago de Compostela, the cathedral, the way...). Then we write the message in English on the left and the address on the right (the ID code too!). We often write about our country, school, weather, temperature... Finally, we put a stamp and... we wait until the platform lets us know it arrived to its destination. Receiving postcards is great too! We register them in the platform and put them in our notice board.

Primeiro, solicitamos un enderezo en Postcrossing. A continuación, eliximos unha bonita postal (normalmente temos imaxes de Santiado de Compostela, da catedral, do camiño...). Despois escribimos a mensaxe en inglés á esquerda e o enderezo á dereita (tamén o código ID!). A miúdo escribimos sobre o noso país, a escola, o tempo, a temperatura... Por último, poñemos un selo e... esperamos ata que a plataforma nos avise de que chegou ao seu destino. Recibir postais tamén é xenial. Rexistrámolas na plataforma e colocámolas no taboleiro de anuncios.
