SANTA CECILIA´S DAY IN MESON DO VENTO SCHOOL

On November 22 is Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of the musicians, for that reason, at the CEIP Meson do Vento, we celebrate this day dancing, playing and singing.

A mestra Rocío díxonos que o 22 de novembro é Santa Icía, a patroa dos músicos, e xa que todos os nenos do Mesón o somos, que mellor forma de celebralo que cunha pandeirada e muiñeira a cargo das nosas pandereteiras.

In the first video you can see a group of girls playing the tambourine and singing, this it is a typical group of traditional Galician music, called "pandereteiras".
