DECORACIÓN DE CASCOS

O mércores día 19 de xuño o equipo de Educación Vial de

Narón veu a facer unha actividade de decoración de

cascos cos nenos e nenas de primeiro e segundo de

educación primaria.

Todos trouxeron os seus cascos e decoráronos con

pegatinas.

Aquí tedes unha mostra do resultado. Agora a rapazada

 vai nas bicis e nos monopatíns seguros e á moda.

HELMETS DECORATION

On June 19th Safety Road Education Team from Naron

came to Ponte de Xuvia School to do an activity with

Year 1 and Year 2. Children decorated their helmets.

Children brought their helmets and they were provided

with different stickers to decorate them.

Here you have some photos of their work. Now children

can ride their bikes and scooters safely and fashionably.

 DUATHLON

 O xoves 20 de xuño a organización AD Náutico de Narón ofreceu no noso colexio unha actividade moi interesante, o duathlon: correr e montar en bici.

Todos os rapaces e rapazas de primaria participaron. Eles trouxeron as súas bicis e os seus cascos e fixeron por grupos a actividade na pista polideportiva do centro.

Empezaron pola mañá cedo desde primeiro ata sexto.

A actividade consistía no seguinte facíanse dous grupos que primeiro corrían arredor da pista unha volta e despois collían a bici e o casco para dar outra volta arredor da pista polideportiva.

Tamén fixeron un circuito de habilidades para complicar a proba.

O certo é que os rapaces e rapazas pasárono moi ben. E algún xa quere continuar entrenando co AD Nautico de Narón.

DUATHLON

On Thursday 20^th June, the sport organization AD Nautico Naron came to our school to promote a very interesting activity, duathlon : running and cycling.

All the Primary children were invited to discover and try this sport. They brought their bikes and helmets and the activity was held in the school multi-sport track.

The activity started early in the morning from Year 1 to Year 6.

The sport event was developed as follows, firstly the group was divided in two teams and they ran around the multi-sport track and then they wore their helmets and rode their bikes around the track again.

They also did a skills circuit.

They really had fun and some of them wanted to continue duathlon with AD Nautico Naron.

SAÍDA EN BICICLETA A EVO SKATEPARK

O 8 de maio a rapazada de 5º e 6º de primaria trouxeron as súas bicis, os seus patinetes, os seus patíns e monopatíns para facer unha saída moi especial de Educación Vial.

Ese día ameazaba choiva pero os nenos e nenas non se amedrantaron e saíron igual nas súas bicis.

Foron visitar Evo Skatepark Indoor , unhas instalacións deportivas en Narón que dispoñen de máis de 1000m2 de superficie patinable.

Sonia e máis Pedro foron os encargados de levar na súa furgoneta os seus materiais e unha vez alí desfrutaron do lindo das instalacións.

A volta tamén foi divertida, empezou a chover e puxéronse coma pitos, pero a enchoupada mereceu a pena.

BIKE OUTING TO EVO SKATEPARK

On May 8th children in Year 5 and Year 6 came to school by bike to do a special outing prepared by The Road Safety Education Team. They were asked to bring with them their scooters, rollerblades or skateboards.

Despite the constant threat of rain the children were not intimidated and they went out riding their bikes.

They visited Evo Skatepark Indoor, a sportcenter in Narón provided with more than 1000m2 of skating area.

Sonia and Pedro accompanied the chidren, Sonia cycling to Evo and Pedro carrying their materials to skate in his van.

They had a great time there. Coming back to school was very funny because it started to rain and they got all wet. But it was worth the trouble.

MARCHA CICLISTA EN NARÓN

O pasado venres 3 de maio celebrouse a 12º edición da Marcha Ciclista do Concello de Narón.

Participaron 9 centros de primaria de Narón e un centro de Neda. Acudiron á cita máis de 1200 nenos desde 3º EP ata 6º EP acompañados por docentes pais, nais e a asociación ciclista Nuestra Señora de Chamorro.

A volta empezou as 10 da mañá e foronse recollendo aos participantes dos distintos centros, despois recorreron xuntos as rúas do concello e remataron no Paseo de Xuvia onde estaba preparado un pequeno ágape saudable: froita e auga repartido por membros das distintas AMPAS dos centros participantes. No paseo había un aparcadoiro sinalizado con bandeiras cos nomes de cada centro.

Despois da merenda poideron disfrutar dunha clase de Zumba.

Queremos, dende aquí, agradecer ó equipo de Educación Vial do Concello a boa organización do evento. A rapazada tivo un día inolvidable. Aquí podedes ver algunha foto dese día.

CYCLING OUTING IN NARÓN

On Friday May 3rd we celebrated the 12th cycling outing in Narón.

9 Primary school centres from Narón and a Primary School centre from Neda participated. There were more than 1200 children from Year 3 to Year 6 (9 to 12 years old), they were accompanied by teachers, parents and the Cycling Club "Nuestra Señora de Chamorro"

The cycling started at 10:00 am and lasted until 14:00 pm. One group went out from the Town Hall and little by little the rest of the people from the other schools were incorporating to the first group and they cycling through Narón streets until they arrived to Xuvia Promenade.

In Xuvia, there was prepared a healthy snack : fruit and water for all the participants. The food was given by members of the School Parents Associations. There was also a bike park with different flags to sign the place where every school could leave their bikes.

After the snack the children could join a Zumba class.

We want to thank the Narón Safety Road Equipment for the great organization of this event.

Children , parents and teachers really enjoy this activity and the weather was perfect to celebrate a day on our bikes.

ERASMUS ABRIL

VISITA DE MESTRES E ESTUDANTES

Este mes de abril recibimos a visita de estudantes e profesores socios do proxecto Erasmus “On Your Bike”viñeron 8 nenos e nenas de dous centros de Gales, 4 estudantes de un centro de Secundaria de Finlandia, 9 estudantes de dous centros de Secundaria de Noruega, 7 estudantes de dous centros de Primaria de Portugal e 9 estudantes de tres centros de Primaria de Turquía, viñan acompañados por 21 profesores dos seus centros. Estiveron en España do 7 ao 12 de abril.O primeiro día visitaron o Concello e os rapaces e rapazas de 6º EP acompañáronos nun baile na Praza de Galicia. O martes visitaron o CEIP A Solaina, o mércores os estudantes fixeron o primeiro congreso “On your Bike” no Pazo da Cultura, coñecemos de primeira man os centros e os proxectos dos nosos socios. A tarde do mércores fíxemos un viaxe en barco pola ría de Ferrol, os nenos de 5º EP, 4 rapaces de 6º e unha nena de 4º. O xoves estiveron no noso centro. Chegaron ás 10 da mañá e recibímolos cunha muiñeira, a segunda vez que puxemos a música pedímoslle que se animaran a bailar e fixemos unha roda con todos os participantes do Erasmus. Despois cos nenos e nenas de 6ºEP de guías visitaron toda as clases para coñecer un pouquiño mellor Galicia. As 11:30 compartimos con todo o colexio o recreo e ás 12 saimos todos polo paseo coas bicis emprestadas polos alumnos e alumnas do noso centro e polo concello, visitamos o Muíño das Aceas, a Magnolia Centenaria e os Estanques de Neda. O Venres visitaron o CEIP Virxe do Mar.Foi unha semana moi especial que nunca olvidaremos no CEIP Ponte de Xuvia!!!!.

APRIL ERASMUS

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS VISIT

On April the 11^th we received the visit of our European partners of The Erasmus project. There were 8 Welsh Primary students from two centers in Cardiff, 4 Finnish students from a Secondary school in Kuopiio, 9 Secondary students from Bergen in Norway, 7 Primary students from MonÇao and ValenÇa in Portugal and 9 Turkish Primary students from Mersin. They were accompanied by 21 teachers from their school. They stayed in Spain from the 8^th to the 12^th of April. On Monday they visited the Town Hall and were welcomed by Marian Ferreiro, The Lady Mayor, our students in Year 6 danced a zumba class with them. On Tuesday they visited the school CEIP A Solaina, On Wednesday some representatives of the students participated in the First Congress On Your Bike in Pazo da Cultura, their speeches helped us to know more things about their schools and their projects. On Wednesday afternoon we had a boat trip in Ferrol estuary. Students from Year 5, Year 6 and Year 4 participated on the boat trip. On Thursday they were at our school. We started dancing a Muiñeira (typical Galician dancing) and then with the help of Year 6 students they visited the classrooms where we showed them different Power Points presentations giving them relevant information about Galicia. Then the whole school shared the break and at 12 o´clock we went on a bike ride. We visited Aceas Mill, the Centenary Magnolia Tree and Neda´s Ponds. We will never forget this day in CEIP Ponte De Xuvia School. Finally, on Friday they spent the morning in CEIP Virxe do Mar. Thank you for being with us. We will never forget that special week.

O 22 de febreiro a equipo de Educación Vial do Concello de Narón  acudiu ao noso colexio para facer prácticas coa rapazada de 5 e 6 anos.  Os nenos tiñan que ir en motos, patinetes ou facer de peóns e simular unha volta pola rúa. Os viandantes levaban chaleco reflectante e paraban e miraban tres veces antes de cruzar a rúa; e os conductores de motos e patinetes respetaban os semáforos, pasos de cebra, rotondas e stops facendo ben os seus traxectos.

Ese mesmo día tivemos prácticas en bici cos nenos/as de 3º e 4 de Educación Primaria. No patio marcaron uns percorridos cos conos e tiveron que demostrar as súas dotes na bicicleta sen caerse.  Fixérono todos moi ben.

Para as dúas actividades tivemos axuda de nenos e nenas de Secundaria do colexio Jorge Juan.

 SAFETY ROAD EDUCATION

On February 22nd,  the safety road equipment from the naron Council came to our school to show our 5 and 6 years old children how  to travel safely either as a driver or a pedestrian.

Some children rode motorbikes and scooters  and others wore reflective vests to pretend being on Naron Streets.  Our schoolyard is painted with streets, roundabouts and traffic signs.  The safety road equipment brought portable traffic lights to simulate a real road. we learnt that when traffic lights are green for pedestrians we still have to look at both sides three times before crossing  and when the traffic light is amber for drivers they have to stop and do not acelerate to pass quickly.

On the same day we also had some bike training for Year 3 and Year 4.  The playground was full of traffic cones to show a path and children had to demonstrate their skills on their bikes without falling.

For both activities we had some help from Secondary children of the School Jorge Juan. Thanks everybody our children really enjoyed these activities.

A última semana de clase antes das vacacións de Nadal o equipo de Educación Vial do Concello de Narón propuxo aos nenos/as acudir ao colexio coa bici ou o patinete tuneado de Nadal. Moitos rapaces animáronse e a actividade foi un éxito grazas a colaboración e bo ánimo das familias.

O día da celebración do Festival do colexio todos aqueles que se animaron a disfrazar o seu medio de transporte recibiron un agasallo pola súa participación.

Esperamos que esta actividade tan divertida sega a celebrarse nos vindeiros anos.

Last week before Christmas Holidays the Safety Road equipment from Naron Council proposed an activity to the children: coming to school with their bikes and scooters customized for Christmas.  A lot of children worked hard and the activity was a big success thanks to the collaboration and good mood of the families.

The day of the Christmas  Festival all the children who assissted to school with their means of transport customized were given a present for their participation.

We hope that such a fun activity will be celebrated on the following years.
