WELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL, RISHABH!

Hi everyone!

This school year we have a new conversation assistant. His name is Rishabh and he comes from New Delhi, in India. We are going to learn lots of things about this country!!

 

 

We have prepared a big mural to welcome him with the hands of all our students saying "hello".

We are having fun asking him many questions and he is telling us many information and curiosities about his country.

India is fantastic!!

He prepared a wonderful presentation about India. 

He talked about traditions, celebrations, food, symbols, monuments, animals...and looooots of things!!!

DRAWING THE TAJ MAHAL

After watching Rishabh´s presentation about India, we decided to make a mural with the most representative things in this country.   Sixth Graders were working on it. 

In Arts class, Rishabh decided to draw the Taj Mahal with this group of children. They followed his instructions and drew this Wonder of the World, working perspective.

 

Here is the tutorial video that helped them with this activity.

 

 

1st and 3rd Graders made a bengala tiger and drew a lotus flower from India.

 

 

LEARNING ABOUT LONDON!

In English class we have been working on a project. All the students from 1st to 6th have been learning about London and United Kingdom and working in many different activities.

We saw many photos, videos, listened to songs, painted the most important buildings or monuments ( London Bridge, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben,...) and touched real money, tea, souvenirs and different objects. 

We made a "London corner" for the class as well, with some objects that the students and the teachers brought.

INDIAN FOOD....DELICIOUS!!

Have you ever tried Indian food? It looks delicious!!!  Lots of spices and colours in every dish.

Here is a presentation about the traditional Indian food that Rishabh prepared.

He talked about what they usually eat for breakfast,  lunch, snack and dinner time. He said the name of all the dishes and told us each ingredient.

Little children love Easter.

In English and Art class we did some activities and made some crafts. Here is one of them...happy first graders looking for delicious chocolate eggs.

 

 

 

ART IN AUTUMN AND WINTER... WITH WOLVES!

This year, the main school project is " The wolf".

In Art class we wanted to make some crafts with WOLVES , recycling materials ( newspapers, magazines,...) and using Autumn leaves.
