In our school we teach an upper-intermediate vocational course on Commercial and Marketing Management, together with two other intermediate vocational courses, according to the curriculum produced by the Spanish Department of Education.
All the subjects are taught in Spanish except Foreign Language which is taken in English.

The globalization of the economy makes the teaching of vocational studies to pay especial attention to foreign languages.
In this sense our vernacular language, Galician, moves our students closer to Portugal. In the same way the inclusion of English as a specific subject of five weekly sessions and the help of an American language assistant prepares them for these transnational mobilities.
Being aware of the importance of handling a foreign language, the IES Pintor Colmeiro recommends the students their language improvement to attend the Official School of Foreign Languages, 10 km from our school
