After Thanksgiving celebration, we have to say goodbye to autum because winter is just around the corner and this means that nights will be longer and colder; in fact, it is the coldest season of the year!

Do you know what day is it today? It is Thanksgiving!!

This is a very special date in the USA. It is celebrated every year, on the fourth Thursday of November. It is a national Holiday and it is more important than Christmas. American families gather together for dinner. The main dish is turkey but also there  are other typical dishes: turkey, pie, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes...

Bo día a tod@s neste fin de curso atípico pero que sen dúbida quedará gardado nos nosos recordos.

Hoxe tería que ser un día especial, ao igual que os outros anos era un día de xuntazas. Tamén despediamos aos nenos e nenas de 6º de primaria que rematan a súa etapa no CEIP Praia de Quenxe e que sen dúbida botaremos moito de menos.

Agradecer a todas as familias o seu esforzo, implicación e apoio nesta situación que nos tocou vivir.

Agora chega o momento de despedir este curso 2019/2020 que persoalmente me deixa unha sensación estraña. 

Desfrutade moito das vacacións. As miñas recomendacións son:

-Rir moito

-Xogar aos vosos xogos favoritos

-Ler libros e contarllos ás vosas familias

-Tardes de cine, palomitas e refresco

-Desfrutar da paisaxe, das praias, da natureza...

-Probar receitas novas, sobre todo fresquiñas e veraniegas

e sobre todo DESFRUTAR do tempo en familia, é o máis prezado que temos.

Vémonos en setembo coas pilas máis que cargadas e desexando que a situación se vaia normalizando pouquiño a pouco.
