    Novembro é o mes da ciencia no cole. Este ano como o Día da Ciencia en Galicia estivo adicado a Baltasar Merino, nós  aproveitamos esta conmemoración e imos a coñecer a obra de este científico galego.

    Baltasar Merino Román foi un botánico do século XIX que realizou unha das obras pioneiras sobre a flora galega. O seu traballo de recolección abarca moitos concellos de Galicia e quedou reflexado nas súas publicacións. Ademais, fixo un gran traballo como meteorólogo.

    No cole imos a investigar na obra deste científico para facer un traballo sobre botánica, catalogando as árbores do noso cole. E por outra banda imos coñecer os aparellos meteorolóxicos para instalar a nosa propia estación meteorolóxica.

O 8 de Outubro celébrase o Día da Ciencia en Galicia, este ano o autor homenaxeado é o químico Ignacio Ribas Marqués artífice do despegue da química orgánica en Galicia, grazase a obtención de produtos naturais a partires das especies vexetais autóctonas.
