On January 30th, we celebrated Peace Day in our school.

In English class, we brainstormed words and ideas that were related to peace. In arts, the students created peaces doves, and beautiful words that we hung up in the hallway. Some students drew doves and colored them with colors they thought represented peace.  Other students cut out doves and used a technique with toothbrushes to splatter paint around the doves.

We ended the celebration with a song and a dance.

All the students worked with their teachers to learn about how NGO´s (ONG) help around the world. They then created their own NGO and presented them during the assembly.
