CARNIVAL AT OUR SCHOOL!

Here are some of the different complements we made in Art for Carnival Parade. We enjoyed a lot making them!

Here is a Celtic shield. They were made by 4th B level

And here we have symbols of Australian aborigenes made by 3rd level.

Finally we have the Roman helmets made with "goma eva" by 4th A level.

MARDI GRAS IN THE USA

This year in the English class, we celebrated Carnival in a different way. Sara talked us about how they celebrate Carnival in the USA.

She told us that they call this festival MARDI GRAS. Then we watched a video about the different traditions and celebrations around this festival. Finally we did some colourful masks using different decorations. Here you have some pictures!! We hope you like them as much as we loved doing them!!

BILINGUAL SECTIONS: THREE WINNERS AT OUR SCHOOL

This year we have three winners in Begonte's Contest :

* LÍA LONGARELA ARIAS 4TH LEVEL (FIRST PRIZE: 60 EUROS AND A FIGURE OF SARGADELOS).

* LUCÍA RÍO DÍAZ 4TH LEVEL (SECOND PRIZE: 30 EUROS AND A FIGURE OF SARGADELOS).

* AMINE EL AKRAOUI 4TH LEVEL( SECOND PRIZE: 30 EUROS AND A FIGURE OF SARGADELOS).

BILINGUAL SECTIONS: BEGONTE'S CONTEST

As in previous years we participated in Begonte's contest. Children made different compositions with different techniques: crayons, felt tip pens, collage... I think they enjoyed a lot and this is the result...

BILINGUAL SECTIONS: AUTUMN TIME

On Friday 12 th November we celebrated a new "magosto" and each level decorated its basket. In 3rd and 4th level we used a brick and adhesive paper and this is the result.
