Goldilocks and the Three Bears… a much beloved fairy tale made into story

books, cartoons, plays, and now a radio drama! The 6^th graders at Abanqueiro school recently adapted the story for radio, recording the drama for the school-wide radio program. The students used a theatre script found online.. Each student took part in the English class project, acting out a different character in the story. Highlights include Ramon as Papa Bear, Moraima as Mama Bear, Juan as Baby Bear, and Antia as the title character.  The 6^th grade students practiced the play for several weeks before running test recording sessions with Teacher Juan in the computer lab. Recording with so many students can be a tedious business, but the 6^th graders showed maturity beyond their years, pulling together to produce a fun, abridged version of the famous story. And they had some fun in the process!
