English Class

Squishies

The "Koalas" made a squishy ball! These are the materials we used:

- a balloon

- an empty water bottle

- funnel

- flour

First pour flour into an empty water bottle using a funnel.

Then stretch out your balloon and stick it in the neck of the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down and press it to fill up the balloon.

Now slowly let the excess air out and tie a knot. Now add face and eyes and your squishy is ready!

Volcano Experiment

In the class of the Kangaroos we made a volcano erupt! It was amazing!

Here are the materials we used:

-a small bottle

-baking soda

-water and dish soap

-vinegar

-food coloring (optional)

STEPS:

1. Cover a small plastic bottle with plastiline.

2. Mix the dish soap, water, vinegar, and food coloring and pour it into the empty bottle.

3. Now, it’s eruption time! Quickly, but carefully, pour this slurry into the bottle and step back. Now, watch the volcano erupt and spill out red lava!
