Yesterday we received the Christmas postcards our Slovenian mates sent us.

They are amazing, and their texts are paragraphs from a nursery rhyme; that was really interesting!

We liked them a lot.

We are really excited!

We have prepared some Christmas postcards for our Slovenian mates and we have already sent them.

We hope they get them before Christmas break and we wish they like them!

We shared how we celebrate Halloween at our school with our Slovenian Friends.

We hope they like it!

Hello everyone!

This academic year 2023-2024 students in 6th grade are involved in an online Exchange Project.

Our partner school is Brusnice Primary School, in Slovenia, and we are going to share some of our festivities with the 6th graders there.

We have already introduced ourselves!

It was our last meeting with the Slovenian students today. We could talk about some of our summer plans and favourites and then we played a kahoot with questions related to summer time.

We are happy we met them and we could use our English to communicate and share interesting things.

Now we want to wish them a HAPPY SUMMER

and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Tuesday 23rd of May has been really motivating: we had a successful online meeting with our Slovenian friends!

We could interact quite well and we played the spring kahoot we had designed for them.

We liked the experience so we are looking forward to our next meeting!

Today, Friday the 19^th of May 2023, we celebrated Os Maios at school and, thanks to our Foreign Language Assistant oldest Pre-Primary students could discover there are similar celebrations in the Philippines.

Apart from receiving more information about her culture, our Assistant showed pupils the Philippines’ traditional clothing and they received some interesting information about their most important festivals. She also introduced “jeepney”, which is the Philippines’ primary mode of transportation.

Students could colour a traditional jeepney. It was really interesting and funny!

Today we finished creating a kahoot for our Slovenian friends.

It was interesting having to decide what kind of questions should we include and it was also funny because, when deciding the different answers to show, we had lots of hilarious ideas.

Today we had such an amazing experience! We met our Slovenian friends via Zoom!

It was our first meeting and we enjoyed the moment a lot.

We played a kahoot they designed for us and we have to say it was really interesting!

We enjoyed the moment so much we are looking forward to meeting them again!
