Short Summary:
The Multiplier Event of the European project Erasmus+ KA202, Sfate (Smart Farm Training for Employment), took place on November the 23rd in the auditorium of the CIFP Compostela.

The Galician Regional Ministry of Education, University and Vocational training, which is the coordinating partner of the project, disseminated the results obtained within the framework of SFATE:

  • The SFATE portal, a digital tool that allows teaching and learning on smart farming by exploring.
  • the study report on new job opportunities and agriculture innovation, that complemented and enriched the portal by providing a state of the art of agriculture in rural areas in regions and countries where the project is developed
  • and the implementation of the Sfate project itself in the vocational training classrooms of the Galician Regional Ministry of Education, University and Vocational Training.

The Regional Ministry counted on the participation of the two SFATE Galician partners to develop the event: the EFA Federation of Galicia and the University of Santiago de Compostela (Higher Engineering Polytechnic School of Lugo), as well as staff from the training centres from the Galician Regional Ministry of Education, University and Vocational Training who participated actively in both the section dedicated to the project dissemination and the  workshop-debate section.

Sfate, a transnational project with partners in Slovenia, France and Germany, is aimed at bringing innovation closer to rural actors and, especially, to the newest ones who are more familiar with digital and technological tools, thus responding to the challenges of the third revolution in the agricultural sector.
