Spanish students in Poland (April 2012)

Probably this trip has been the most interesting experience in our lives. We made a lot of friends, and the people were very friendly, generous, and nice. We liked Warsaw very much. In Lublin we visited  different places: the swimming pool, a bowling alley, museums, parks..., but the most important was to be with all the Comenius students.
We liked Poland and hope to return there!

Ada, Christian and Javier visiting The Netherlands (October 2011)

Netherlands
I'm going to talk about my trip to Vlaardingen:
This October, I and 2 students more went on a small trip to The Netherlands for a few days. We spent there almost 5 days, and we went to a lot of cities, towns, and beautiful and interesting places.
The time was really short, but it was great, because everything was very well planned, people were nice, kind and funny, and we could do a lot of things and enjoy our time.
In my case, I went to an old friend's house (we had met before this in another exchange one year ago), and we were really happy to meet again. The family treated me like another daughter, they gave me all the things that I needed and talked to me a lot.
My partner, like I said, is a really good person, and we're still friends. Of course we'll continue being friends for a long time more!
About The Netherlands, I think is a really beautiful country. It's really different from Spain, first of all because there, everything is flat, and here in Vigo, it's uphill.
They have a lot of green, animals in the city... they seem really natural people, and I loved it. The food was nice too, and teachers from there were kind people and spoke a lot.
I'd love to go there again in the future, so I can be with all these marvellous people in such a beautiful place!

Project meeting in Wernigerode

In October 2010, we went to a Comenius project in Wernigerode, a little village in Germany. Some other countries took part in it. The topic of the meeting was "traditional games" so, each country had to bring a typical game and teach the rest how to play. We took "O xogo da chave" and it was one of the really best, everyone enjoyed it very much. We went for 4 days, so I had time to visit the village, spend time with the family (very kind , I must say), to get to know the students from the other countries...
On the way back home, Julian, Veli and I had a little time to visit Berlin, and it was a great experience!
It was a very nice trip, where we learnt, had fun and grew a bit as human beings.

PROGRAMA COMENIUS 2010-2012

O traballo colaborativo destes programas mellora as competencias en diferentes areas.

O IES “San Tomé” participa nestes proxectos europeos Comenius, iniciados e desenvolvidos ó longo dos primeiros 10 anos polas profesoras Carmen Frade e Maruxa Jiménez do Departamento de Inglés do Centro.

www.windowsoneurope.nl

www.flyingovereurope.net

www.discoveringeurope.blogspot.com

Dende o curso 2010-2011 as profesoras Mª Luz López e Conchi Pazos tomaron o relevo da coordinación.

Os novos proxectos deste curso podense ver no blogue conxunto:
